The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay including fridge, gas cooktop, microwave and outside Weber BBQ.

The property owners are on site but away (100 m) from the cabin which will allow for total privacy

The property is a rural retreat of 100 acres that backs on to natural rain forest with views to the surrounding forested hills

The property features cleared paddocks, bush tracks and forest expanses. We are located at the headwaters of the Nambucca River. The river flows through the property. The crystal clear water of the river is accessible with swimming holes and creek crossing.

Juugawaarri, the name of the adjacent nature reserve, means “place of rest” in the language of the Gumbaynggirr Aboriginal people. For thousands of years the Gumbaynggirr people may have visited this area for food, reliable water, rest and perhaps shelter from fire in the rainforest.

Birdsong is located in the beautiful Nambucca Valley. Close to beaches, scenic little country towns and National Parks.
